The overall road conditions are stable. The total distance from Kashgar to Tashkurgan is approximately 290 kilometers, with a driving time of about 6 hours. Arrive at Tashkurgan county town in the evening and check in. After arrival, it is recommended to rest quietly to acclimatize to the high altitude. Avoid showering and drinking alcohol that evening to prevent altitude sickness.
Day 2: After breakfast, depart from Tashkurgan county town and head toward the west entrance of Panlong Ancient Road in the direction of Bandi’er Township.
