May Itinerary Highlights
As China’s first Huxiang-themed comfortable tourist train, it features an innovative model of senior-friendly service + cultural immersion, filling a gap in rail tourism products.
It transforms “transportation lines” into “scenic routes” and upgrades the “rail network” into a “culture & tourism network”, pioneering a new model of Rail + Tourism + Consumption.
Jointly developed by Hunan Tourism Development Investment Group and China Railway Guangzhou Group, the train embodies the theme Splendid Xiaoxiang and the design concept of a “Moving Cultural Living Room”.
Huxiang history, Hunan embroidery, and local cuisine are elegantly integrated into every carriage, creating an immersive moving cultural corridor with “one carriage, one scene”.
The train consists of 17 soft-sleeper carriages, with twin, triple, and quad rooms, accommodating up to 264 passengers.
The exterior features a red-based streamline color scheme, symbolizing mountains, rivers, and the horizon.

Tour Routes
The train offers two main 18-day journeys:
- Complete tour of North & South Xinjiang
- Combined tour of Xinjiang, Qinghai, and Gansu
Boarding available in multiple cities including Guangzhou, Changsha, Wuchang, Xi’an, Lanzhou.
